So many museums so little time

Monday and Tuesday we spent all day at Museums. On Monday we went to the Altes, Pergammon and Neues Museums. The Altes Museum was designed by Schinkel, who has also done many other building we have seen on the trip. All three of the museums held ancient collections from Greece, Rome, the Middle East and Egypt. In the Pergammon they even had a Greece Temple and a giant Market Gate from the Roman Empire.

The other two museums were full of on statues, artifacts and hundreds of other things. It was amazing to be able to see all the things. On Monday also we went and saw the Berlin Dome. It was built in 1905 by the last German King. It is a gaint Church in the middle of Berlin. It was so beautiful inside. We were able to climb to the top of one of the domes and all go down into the crypt.

One Tuesday we went to the German History Museum and spent the whole day there. It is giant with two whole floor full of things that date back to 500 BC and go all the way to the Berlin Wall falling. We spent five or six hours there  but could easily spend a few days there just looking at everything and reading all about all the things they have. It was great to get to learn the complete history of another country and see how old they are and how much they have grown.

  2. I will. I though I had some. I don't remember the complete story of the swords. I believe they date back to the 1200s or maybe a little sooner. They were right at the start of the museums so they are pretty old

  4. I'm really not sure. It was in the lobby of the museum and I just though she was really pretty and cool looking.
